Setup
Installation
Choose a level clear space for placement.
Warning
When choosing location avoid slopes of more than 10°.
When sited apply the wheel locks to prevent unexpected movement.
To lock the wheels
Press the lock lever down to lock the wheels.
Lift the lock levers up to release the brakes.
Charging
NOTE! The following Alert may be presented depending on the temperature of the cell. Alerting user that the unit is in the warm up phase, Note! the unit may not be used until it has reached the required temperature. Do not disconnect the power or the unit will shut down.

Mains 15amp IEC charging
NOTE! US input 1 is IEC only 15A, powerCON® TRUE1 is 20A, so the user has ability to use a 15A or 20A, UK and EU, both the IEC and the powerCON® TRUE1 are 16A
The 15amp and 20amp outlets need to be dedicated outlets and not share a load with anything else or the unit will trip the breaker.
Set the Input Switch to position 1.
Plug in the supplied mains cable to the main input breaker on the Salt-E Dog and suitable mains supply . If nothing happens ensure the breaker is in the ON position.

Mains powerCON® TRUE1 Charging
Set the Input Switch to position 2.
Connect the cable to the powerCON® TRUE1 main input breaker and suitable mains supply. If nothing happens ensure the breaker is in the ON position.

Solar PV Charging
Connect the Solar Panel cable to the Solar PV Input socket. If nothing happens within approx 2 minutes, check to ensure the breaker is in the ON position.

CEEform (EU\UK)
Set the Input switch to position 3.
Insert the CEEform cable into the CEEform socket and a suitable mains supply.

EV Level 2 Charging
Insert the EV charge cable into the EV input.
Move the switch to the "I" ON position. If it was left in the "I" position previously, cycle it from "O" to "I"

Control Panel
7" color LCD Touchscreen:
Salt-E Dog features a large 7" color touchscreen display, see below for menu:

LED Status

Push button
Ring LED is only Green or Red, see table for LED patterns.
When button is off, DC outputs, AC inverter, and fans are all turned off to reduce the idle current draw.
When the unit is charging, it doesn’t matter what the button state is as charging is happening and the DC outputs are kept off.

Connecting equipment
Caution
Ensure all cables and equipment being connected to the unit are in good condition, free from defects or damage.
Warning
DO NOT exceed individual socket amp ratings see Technical Specifications
Ensure the unit has sufficient charge.
Simply plug in the equipment cables to the appropriate socket.
Ensure the breakers are turned on
If the unit is overloaded the main breaker will trip. To reset the breaker do the following: Turn OFF and disconnect all loads. Reset breaker, Reconnect the loads one at a time, using the visual warning on the display to check if overloading the unit.
Putting into long term storage
To put into long term storage or shipment, navigate the control panel and press the Enter Storage Mode button.
