Important information on the safe installation and operation of this product. Read this information before operating the product. For your personal safety, read these instructions. Do not operate the product if you do not understand how to use it safely. Save these instructions for future reference.

Intended Use

The Anton/Bauer Salt-E Dog is intended for use in motion picture and television production sets.

Electrical Connection

Warning

Use power cord supplied by Anton Bauer or a cord with an appropriate rating for the input current/switch selected.

Danger

Risk of electric shock. Do not remove cover, no user serviceable parts inside the product.

Danger

Risk of electric shock. Always check cables for signs of damage. Damaged cables can cause personal injury and/or damage the equipment.

Caution

Do not exceed the current output limit of the product when powering auxiliary devices.

Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.

Terminals should not be put in short circuit at any time.

Handling

Warning

Any damage caused by mishandling to the outer cabinet could impact the IP and warranty. All damage should be reported to the owner so an inspection can be carried out

Caution

Take special care to avoid damaging the product case. Do not drop.  Use only the correct lifting and handling equipment.

Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames.

Warning

Do not stand on the battery cabinet.

The product should not be used outside the operating temperature limits. Refer to the product technical specifications for the operating limits for the product.

Do not use the battery if the case is damaged or broken. Do not open or attempt to service this battery if damaged.

Operating Environment

You MUST operate the unit on level stable ground up to 10° slope. The unit has locking wheels, which should be applied to prevent the machine moving during operation.

All trailing cables should be routed so as not to cause any kind of trip hazard.

Only authorized person/s who are trained should operate this unit.

Ventilation

Warning

Intake and exhaust openings should be kept clear at all times to ensure reliable operation and doesn't overheat.

Maintenance

Warning

When cleaning the product, use a soft damp cloth only. Do not wet the exposed metal parts of the battery. Do not use solvents, detergents or scouring agents.

Warning

The fitting of  non-approved parts or accessories, or the carrying out of non-approved alterations or servicing can be dangerous and could affect the safety of the product. It may also invalidate the terms and conditions of the product warranty.

Caution

Never attempt to service this battery. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.

Danger

Never attempt to open this battery. The electronic circuits inside the battery can be damaged causing malfunction and/or potential hazard to person and property.
