Powering DC Auxiliary Equipment
Performance Series Chargers can operate cameras and camcorders using the four pin DC XLR camera output connector located at the back of the charger in two ways.
To power the camera from battery power:
Attach one end of the XLR4 accessory cable (available separately) to the charger.
Attach the other end to the “DC in” four pin XLR on the camera/camcorder. A battery can be attached when AC mains power is not present to provide DC power output after five seconds.
To power the camera from AC mains:
Plug the charger into the wall using the supplied 3-pin power cable.
Attach one end of the XLR4 accessory cable (available separately) to the Charger.
Attach the other end to the “DC in” four pin XLR on the camera/camcorder (XLR Pin 1 is negative and Pin 4 is positive).

Press the DC XLR Output icon, located on the lower right hand of the Performance Charger LCD.
