Maintenance
SALT-E DOG requires minimal maintenance.
To clean, brush off any loose dirt and dust, use a soft damp cloth to wipe off any marks.
Two (2) air filters are located on the underside of the unit at the front and rear ends. These filters require regular cleaning, every 12 months, or more frequently under dusty conditions.
To service an air filter:
Unfasten the two (2) captive screws that attach the filter bracket and pull down on the filter bracket to remove.
Use compressed air to clean the filter and bracket. If necessary, detach the filter from the filter bracket to clean or replace. Do not use chemicals or detergents.
Attach the new or cleaned filter to the filter bracket via the included five (5) screws.
Push the filter bracket w/ filter into place and fasten the two (2) captive screws to secure.
Caution
Using a compressed air source to clean the filters, ensure the appropriate protection equipment (PPE) is used, protective glasses etc.
Check the tyre condition and the pressure 30psi (2 bar) Max.
