8.1 Control parameters
In standard condition of use, the battery does not need any individual protection measure for the exposure to chemical agents. Refer to Sec. 5-6 for emergency response and equipment.
8.2 Exposure controls
The intact battery does not permit any contact between the chemical products and the external environment.
Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment:
Respiratory equipment: None required under normal use conditions.
Hand protection: None required under normal use conditions. Use butyl gloves when handling leaking batteries.
Eye protection: None required under normal use conditions. Wear safety glasses when handling leaking batteries.
